THE VIEWS OUTSIDE
(from inside our CT home)

Here’s a portfolio of photos I took this month on my cellphone, mostly through the glass windows of our weekend house in CT, looking out on the pastoral scene that surrounds us.

This tree stands right outside our bedroom, with the view accessible only from a narrow window near our bed. It’s one of my favorites.

The view above is through the skylight over our bed. The one below is from a window near Barbara’s dressing table, taking in the passing road.

Those are our cars above – and one of theirs below.

This is the only such structure on our property, in which we store some
old stuff.

Most of what we see when we look out our windows are trees, trees
and trees.

But each tree is different, and I find the overall effect exhilarating.

More of the same.

And a few more.

Here you can glimpse our lawn chairs through the leaves.

We have a screened-in porch where we dine and relax in the summertime.

This is the view out our front door, including one of the six critters that romp around the place.

As the September days slip by, the leaves begin to fall.

Here in early September, is a last glimpse of the bright summer scene.

Now, as the month-end nears, the falling leaves of early Fall abound. And I’m just waiting for the glorious autumn colors that are sure to please us next month.
