COLORFUL PAST CT AUTUMNS
This group of photos pay tribute to the colorful autumns of five to
ten years ago in Fairfield County, CT, at or near our weekend home
in the town of Easton.
This tree is ablaze with color in late October.
Pumpkins galore abound during the October scene.
A handsome church, close to our home, that stands out every season but especially in the Fall.
Here’s the area between our house and the hot tub (housed in green).
The trees, in their infancy, were planted by my wife Barbara and
our close friend, Bill Silver.
The local porcine statuette takes on a decidedly October tone, while one of our pups is posing amidst the fallen leaves.
Here are some local watery spots.
This mini-waterfall is surrounded by fallen leaves.
Even a cemetery is made more appealing when the autumn leaves turn to a golden hue.
I like this intertwining of limbs, branches, and colorful leaves.
Here’s some good colors . . . .
. . . even more intense hues . . . and
. . . a happy medium of coloration.
Here's how Fall colors look up close.
I’ll conclude with a nod to my favorite tree in our town.
