REAR WINDOW - REVISITED

How about Judy Crawford's terrific photo of a magical sky over Manhattan apartment houses and their ubiquitous water towers?!

This celestial moon shot was taken – as were all the photos in this blog entry – on an iPhone by my friend Judy Crawford from her apartment window on the Upper East Side.

. . . or perhaps another view of the same.

I like to think of this one as Manhattan posing under
a blessing from heaven.

And now here’s an almost vertical rainbow.

This is a unique photo through a snow-spackled window . . .

Here's another shot of the same scene but now more visible
through fewer flakes.

In Manhattan, it’s hard to resist taking shots of these picturesque
water towers.

This one is nicely juxtaposed against a single cloud.

For this shot, the sky decided to turn a vivid color.

The best view from Judy’s bedroom window is across the Reservoir and Central Park to the apartment houses of Central Park West – especially the twin towers of the Eldorado.

Here are five more such shots, all varied – great stuff.

And here’s the Eldorado almost eclipsed by a dense fog –
but still standing tall.

Now Judy is looking east . . . .

A good close-up

See if you can guess what the numbers stand for.

Judy's 25th shot was taken through the window of the terrific bookstore, Crawford-Doyle,
that proprietors Judy and John graced the East Side with for so many years.
